Factory seeks a Digital Director to work across multiple clients within our Fashion, Beauty, and Tech/Innovation divisions. The candidate should possess an insatiable hunger for innovation in the digital world, an impressive portfolio of content-driven campaigns you’ve ideated, a keen understanding of the latest measurement tools, social media and influencer marketing trends. The position calls for an experienced communicator, an expert strategist, enthusiastic social media consumer—who is both analytical and visionary – a strong leader with the ability to innovate, conceive and execute big ideas. This position will be New York-based and report to Factory PR’s Head of Digital. You will be essential to the direction and development of the team and division, implementing impactful campaigns and tactics for clients in fashion, beauty, tech, and design.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, manage and execute organic and paid influencer strategies that amplify engagement and brand goals
- Oversee team and build out strategies including pitching, negotiating, contracts and reporting for clients’ digital activations
- Develop and implement social media and content strategies for brands and companies that align with client business goals
- Create content strategies, outlining social voice and tone, feed aesthetic, content types, growth strategy (paid and organic)
- Identify key influencers, creatives and talent in designated verticals for maximum engagement and overall reach in both paid and unpaid capacities
- Work in tandem with PR teams to align on influencer and social media strategies with overall brand goals
- Perform continuous research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences within the digital marketing space
- Suggest and implement new features, tools, and ideas to raise brand awareness and grow channel followings when applicable
- Maintain positive relationships with high level influencers, agents, and other creative agencies
- Hold 1:1 meetings with team members to understand career goals and growth, and provide feedback on performance
- Own day-to-day stewardship of the business, managing budgets and billing
- Contribute to new business proposals to ensure digital capabilities are accurately and creatively represented

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 8 years of digital, content, influencer and social media experience
- Collaborative, agency background preferred
- Experience in fashion, beauty, tech and innovation brands
- Strong leadership skills and a proven manager and mentor
- High level of initiative and proven ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience developing and executing large-scaled content marketing strategies and overseeing content development, specifically for social media platforms
- Experience amplifying campaigns and content and building online marketing strategies
- Fluency of digital platforms, tools, and software
- Conceptual and forward-thinking – comfortable in an ambiguous environment and excited about inventing new ways of working
- Possess a network of content creators and influencers
- Exceptional knowledge with analytics and reporting
- Excellent time management and project management skills
